Training & Credentials

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) licensed by California's Board of Behavioral Sciences. My clinical training includes working with adults (up to age 66), children (ages 4-17), families, and leading children’s groups including expressive arts groups, social skills and yoga/mindfulness training. I have worked in various clinical settings: outpatient clinic, agency clinic, domestic violence shelter, school district,and community based settings. I have extensive experience working with trauma (abuse, domestic violence, acculturation, and recent trauma). I have also completed state certified domestic violence counselor training. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in nonprofit management in East Bay and for a fast paced Silicon Valley based start-up.
